Mars needs a Santa for its children so they decide to take ours. However, old Saint Nick proves to be more than a handful for the Martians and everything they can throw at him. This movie is so gloriously bad that it comes back around to being good again. Then keeps right on going back to bad and then comes around to good a second time. If cheeze and tackiness and bad special effects are what you're after, this movie delivers.
I think this is one of those movies you gotta watch at least once, if for nothing else, to see what's so bad about it. It has it's funny parts, sometimes from being so fake-y, OK most of the time from being so fake-y. The polar bear scene is especially funny! You will have to watch it to see what I am talking about.

Oh my!! It sounds like a funny movie, lol. I will have to add it to my list for when the kiddos are around.
Hmmm...well, there are a few of the "cheesy" and "tacky" Christmas shows out there, I've seen a few of them myself! LOL!
I think I will get a kick out of seeing this one. I like offbeat vintage movies, and I love Santa! Perfect mixture.
